Community First Training - Develop the future of your organisation by investing in the training of your staff, trustees and volunteers.Community First Training runs a programme of training courses for voluntary and community groups. The programme offers affordable training and development opportunities for paid staff, volunteers and trustees. Download our current programme for Spring 2012 or go to the Training Section of What's On. To book a course, use the Online Booking Form. or complete the Booking Form All workshops are held at accessible community venues across East Hampshire. Courses can be customised to suit the needs of particular organisations and participants. Some are at a basic level, others are accredited or certificated courses, and we try to provide them at a reasonable cost. Feedback is welcomed from groups on which courses they would like to see run in the future. There are also two other training projects in East Hampshire which are based at Community First:
Would you like to see more community and individual adult learning opportunities available at a venue near you? What if East Hampshire had a local learning programme and booking point? Would you find this useful? Then you may be interested in the Increasing Local Learning Opportunities which is being overseen by the East Hampshire Community Learning Forum.
Community First is offering one to one help and support and is able to deliver short talks to discuss personal safety and lone working, plus exploring the risks and practical solutions to situations. For more information see Personal Safety and Lone Working training information. For further information on any of the above courses or projects or to make suggestions for future courses please contact Liz Moore – Training Co-ordinator on 01730 710017.
