Community First East Hampshire is the Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) in East Hampshire. Community First exists to strengthen the voluntary and community sector in East Hampshire through support, information, training, representation and encouraging volunteering for all. Our service is free, informal, professional, inclusive and accessible.
Our key areas of activity are:
- Putting Community First for Volunteering
Advising, supporting and encouraging people willing to volunteer and promoting volunteering.

Putting Community First for Community Development
Helping charities and voluntary and community groups and organisations to succeed through effective support, information and guidance.

Putting Community First for Training
Providing a variety of accessible workshops and courses to suit trustees, paid staff and volunteers.

Putting Community First for Networks
Facilitating useful links with other voluntary, statutory and private organisations in East Hampshire.
